LEED Credits

Indoor Environmental Quality Credit 4.1 (1 point): Low Emitting Materials: Adhesives & Sealants 
Multi-Bond has a low VOC content (0 g/L) which reduces the quantity of indoor air contaminants. The 
VOC limit required by LEED for Indoor Carpet adhesive is 50g/L. Multi-Bond may contribute to LEED IEQ 
Credit 4.1.

Indoor Environmental Quality Credit 4.3 (1 point): Low Emitting Materials – Flooring Systems
Sandtrap meets the requirements of the Carpet and Rug Institute for low chemical emissions and is 
Green Label Plus certified. Sandtrap may contribute to LEED IEQ Credit 4.3.

Indoor Environmental Quality Credit 5 (1 point): Indoor Chemical & Pollutant Source Control
Sandtrap is intended for semi-permanent installation. To qualify for IEQ Credit 5, the product must be at 
least ten feet in length in the primary direction of travel and maintained on a weekly basis by a 
contracted service organization. Sandtrap may contribute to LEED IEQ Credit 5.

Materials & Resources Credit 4 (1-2 points): Recycled Content
Sandtrap is manufactured from approximately 20% post-consumer recycled content. Sandtrap may 
contribute to LEED MR Credit 4.
