Shipping and Returns
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. All that we ask is that you pay shipping costs back to The Mad Matter, Inc and the restock fee. We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the “Complete Orders” link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
We offer FREE SHIPPING for many (BUT NOT ALL) of our items when the order meets the following criteria: Order Amount is over $100.00 and the ship to address is within in the contiguous United States. For orders under $100.00 destined for an address within the contiguous (lower 48) United States, we will add a $19.95 Handling Charge and add it to your order. Certain types of products such as Weight Room Flooring and Stall Mats are very heavy and expensive to ship. These items do not normally qualify for free shipping when purchased online. The best way to order these goods is to call in and let us determine the most cost effective manner in which to get the goods to you. For orders destined outside of the contiguous (lower 48) United States, we will attempt to find the most cost effective method of shipment and to contact you with the shipping charges prior to fulfilling the order. If we do not hear back within 24 hours, we will assume that you agree to the additional charges and will, at The Mad Matter, Inc.’s discretion, choose to complete the order and add the additional charges to your purchase – or in the event that we believe the additional charges are “too high” for us to make the decision, we may elect to refund the amount of the original order and not process the transaction. Our intent is not to take advantage of you, but it is also our intent not to incur financial expenses that are not equitable.

For items that do not qualify for Free Shipping (i.e., out of the country or contiguous United States) applicable Freight Charges will be added to your order and your credit card will be billed for the delivery charges. And due to the fact that shipping charges were unknown at the time of the purchase, the amount reflected on the Invoice at Check-out may be different than the amount charged on your credit card. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
